Miners’ Wellness TeleECHO Program
The Miners' Wellness TeleECHO Program is designed to help create, mentor, and sustain rural multidisciplinary team-based expertise to combat the recent re-emergence of pneumoconiosis in the pneumoconiosis mortality hotspot regions in the United States. It occurs on the second and fourth Wednesday of every month. You can find more information about the program here. This week, Sarah Medrek, MD, from Veterans Affairs presents “Is it time to pharmacologically treat corpulmonale in miners with pulmonary fibrosis?” To register, email minerswellnessecho@salud.unm.edu.
